Please note: These instructions are untested as I have NOT yet made my quilt. Read over them carefully before beginning and please email me with any questions.
Here’s another variation, I’d still make this scrappy but note that the 4 patches are arranged differently in this quilt.
This is a good quilt for our Guild charity programme. We cut the fabric and put it into baggies and our members take them home and bring them back the next month put together. Our smaller group then piece the top and quilt and out it goes to our charity of choice.
I’ll let you know how it goes.

My daughter just bought her first house. I wanted to make her a quilt for a house warming gift but was stumped on a pattern. Her bedroom is done in shades of blue & grey & I think I just found the PERFECT pattern to make for her in those colors! Many thanks! Keep up the EXCELLENT work!

I made a quilt following the top picture and on Christmas 2011, gave it to an international student from Germany. I was on Skyp with him last week and he panned over to show me his bed complete with quilt. He said he uses it every day. It is so gratifying to give a quilt so someone who appreciates the gift.
Thank you for the inspiration. I used blues and tans from Connecting Threads and they looked great.

Hello,
I’m looking to make this in a king size quilt for my son and soon to be daughter-in-law for a wedding gift, but need to know how much yardage for the different colors I would need. If you could help me, that would be great. Thank you. Emily Weber

I would like to make this for my son and future daughter-in-law for a wedding gift. Could you please give me yardage for it. I’ll be making a king size, but yardage for any size would at least be helpful. Thank you.
