Can’t wait to make this quilt! Looked at other versions but they were mostly paper pieced. I plan to use only 4 or 5 different fabrics. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks for the pattern.

I love the movement you get from this pattern. I also downloaded the carpenter star. I have only been quilting for about a year (sewing forever). I wanted something a little more challenging (hehe… but with these patterns it will look hard but really wasnt) Thanks so much for the patterns.

I came across your website in June of 2012 and I am very impressed with your quilt designs, especially the Spiderweb Quilt. I downloaded the pattern and worked on it as my summer project. I used multiple colored scraps of fabric and every block is uniquely interesting. The movement of this pattern is what drew me to wanting to make one.

My sister in Canada told me of your web site and I spent a few delightful hors looking at all your scrap quilt patterns. And The Spinders Web was the one I found most intersting, Like previous quilters I used a veritity of scraps and was amazed at the result. Number two is now on its way to becing completed and I was more than pleased to find a block that I enjoy doing and finding a good use for more scraps.
I also liked the idea of making one from Christmas fabric but that can wait until next winter.

I love spiders and spider webs and would like to make a quilt featuring them. My first instinct was to pin one of the photos but I could not get a link to pop up. Thank you for being so clear about your copyright. I have not and will not pin but instead will print it.
I think I will make a curtain for the window in the foyer. The window is a good size and that is where Senna cat likes to stand guard. She is not black although she is a dark colour. I might skip the batting and just sew a fabric with spiders as the backing. That way when the sun shines through, there will be shadow spiders on the webs!
