Double 4 Patch

A queen size version in red made for my son and DIL

How about a RWB version? This version does not have a border although one could easily be added if you want a larger quilt.

Quilt size is – 56 x 72

Block size is 8 inches (8.5 inches with seam allowances)

Blocks are set 7 across and 9 down

  2. THey are certainly both beautiful. I am partial to the red one since I am currently working on 2 pieces that will be red and tan. I like the way the smaller squares connect up and chain across the quilt. It’s a dramatic design.

    Thank-you so much for sharing. I’m going to bookmark your site for future reference, and for now, I’ve downloaded the PDF for the double 4 square. I can’t wait to use up some of my stash. I’ll post a picture if I ever get it finished. I was going to get help for my procrastinating once by going to PA meetings. (that`s Procrastintors Annonymos) But the first time I went there was a notice on the door that the meeting had been postponed! I never went back. Pray for me!
