My finished quilt
My EQ drawing
This looks like a great pattern. I was going to use another one the required 4 4-patches but I’ll get it done faster if I use 2 4-patches and 2 solid squares instead.

I started this just cause I like the looks of it. I got one block together and a few others cut out. It is a nice easy flow pattern. I’m not supposed to be starting anything new till I do a few ufo’s but couldn’t resist. I’ll do them as leaders/enders as I work the UFOs. That’ll be legal, right? LOL
Thanks for the tutorial.

Mary I just finished wrapping up my latest swap where we swapped scrappy 4-patches… and I’m going to share the link to this pattern with all of my ladies. I know several of them already have plans for theirs as this is a VERY Versatile unit that Bonnie Hunter uses often in her patterns…
Can you believe that just a few weeks ago I had over 4,000 scrappy 4-patches across my guest bed? yep… 33 swappers! 🙂 and there are already plans to have an ongoing scrappy 4 patch swap for next year! 😛
Love the dark colors mixed up within your pattern. I have new to me EQ and will hope to download your file. Thanks for sharing! Love from Texas! ~bonnie

Love the scrappy look of this. I’ve made one with plain blocks where your HST’s are and I loved the way it looked. I’ve got some HST’s and this would be a perfect pattern for using some up. Thanks!!
